wingless quad fish

I've built a few quad fish over the years, and I've found that a cleaner outline drawns a cleaner turn, hence the wingless quad fish. This design can handle a wide range of waves, from 2' to 10', and can negotiate the terms without any compromise in speed. Check out Tyler Warren's little video below to have a look at the definition of speed and flow.

~ Single-concave into double-concave vee (spiral vee.)
~ Best performance with bamboo, marine-ply, and volan glass-on fins. Also available with the Lokbox removable fin system.
~ Tapered stringers for lively flex and "variable rocker."

~ 100% hand-shaped

~ All board materials are made in California.

AK4 Fin Template

This fin template represents the reference standard for my quad fish designs. The larger single-foil lead fins provide plenty of drive and help keep the rail engaged, while the double-foil trailing fins add stability at speed and allow for nice release off the top. Great for surfers who want drive without sacrificing maneuverability and responsiveness in hollow surf.
