mini arc-swallowtail

This design follows the same form and function of the Arctail Quad, but with surface area removed in the tail to loosen up boards in longer lengths up to 6'3". For boards 5'8" and under, the deep swallowtail gives the design more release and responsiveness in faster, hollower surf.

The basic elements of the Mini Arc-Swallowtail are the same as my other Mini Boards:

- shorter, fuller outline

- rolled hull entry for lift onto the concaves

- scooped nose for less swing weight

- volume centered over the back 2/3 of the board

- single concave to spiral vee

- Choice of marine-ply or volan glass-on fins

- Tapered basswood stringers for flex and "variable rocker."

- Available 4'11" to 6'3".

- 100% hand-shaped

- All components of these boards--blanks, fins, etc. are made in California.
